Professional Summary

I’m Ketlain Difficile is a Haitian filmmaker and photojournalist based in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, with nearly a decade of experience.

In 2014,I participated as an actor in a Canadian Film titled « Guibord s’en va t’en guerre » . It was such an interesting experience that, since then, cinema has become my greatest passion.

I’m passionate about learning. Rigorous, creative and dynamic, I give my all to everything I undertake. My strong interpersonal skills and adaptability help me to improve both my personal and team performance.

Skills, Education & Experiences

In 2016 I joined the « Cine Institute » a film school based in Jacmel for an internship, then I took basic courses in Camera, Editing and Screenwriting . I also worked there for several years.

In 2020, I returned to Cap-Haïtien, where I founded OFF, a non-profit film organization dedicated to the discovery of cinema and the promotion of exchanges between all cultures.

In 2021, I was a beneficiary of Transcultura Program by UNESCO, which enabled me to take a course in content distribution at International Film and Television School of CUBA.

In 2023 he was a scholarship holder in the 15th edition of the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop Program sponsored by VII Academy
